Worlds 2026 Swiss Stage Day 4: Bin, Keria, Morgan shine; Team Liquid stuns Anyone's Legend
28.10.26, 05:57 Updated 29.10.26, 04:08
ALLEN, Texas – Tuesday was the off day, meaning The Load-In’s Paul Delos Santos and Lauren “Misa” Sanchez also took a day to themselves. They are joined again by BasilLeaf to hand out honors and break down who's trending up and down, from Team Liquid upset of Anyone’s Legend to Bilibili Gaming’s return to form.
HONOR ROLL: Chen “Bin” Ze-Bin
Bilibili Gaming has turned it around and is starting to look like the team that started on the Golden Road.
Bin put on back-to-back strong performances in wins against Team Liquid Alienware and Karmine Corp. In three matches, the top laner only has three deaths with 13 kills and 14 assists.
Bin is finding form at the right time after being “completely fisted” by Movistar KOI in their first match of the tournament. – Basil
HONOR ROLL: Ryu “Keria” Min-seok
Keria continues to prove why he has the rightful title of best support, especially in T1’s game against CFO in the 1-1 bracket.
With his snap engages on Rakan, and incredible shot-calling ability, T1 is lucky to have him as his star player alongside Faker.
“Kai’Sa had Zhonya’s Hourglass, so it couldn’t have been easy to engage on her,” Kim "Peyz" Su-hwan told The Load-In’s Paul Delos Santos. “He still had to find an engage in a tough game, and I think he did that well. That was one of the reasons we were able to win.” – Misa
HONOR ROLL: Park “Morgan” Ru-han
Forget that he had two amazing games against Anyone’s Legend.
How about we chat about his unwavering confidence and positivity in the face of potential 0-3 disappointment?
"Our atmosphere was pretty bad after we lost two games, but he was like, 'It's OK, guys. I rewatched our finals games. I know what we were good at. We can do this,’” Lim “Quid” Hyeon-seung said. “Even though we lose, it is what it is. I'm going to help us. Just enjoy this moment."
Morgan’s Game 1 Camille carried the load for Team Liquid. His 13:1 KDA helped TL pick up their first game of the tournament. He was stable in Game 2 after he got some help from Sean “Yeon” Sung, as TL upset the LPL’s top seed. – Paul
STOCK UP: Team Liquid Alienware
Team Liquid rewarded the LCS faithful with a dominant 2-0 against AL in the 0-2 bracket. The team ended North American 13-series loss streak to an LPL team, and the team’s victory has sparked flames of hope and passion in both loyal fans and newcomers to North American League of Legends.
TL’s forward momentum drives them to their next match against LOS Ratones, as their time at Worlds is not over just yet. – Misa
STOCK UP: Bilibili Gaming
Imagine being on the Golden Road and then in one moment the bricks started turning into bronze.
BLG failed to win LPL to complete the domestic sweep and then struggled in their first Worlds match against MKOI. But the sleeping giants of China have awakened rolling past Team Liquid and Karmine Corp to earn a date against TOP Esports in the 2-1 bracket. – Paul
STOCK DOWN: CTBC Flying Oysters
CFO is a good team, but so is Team Secret Whales. The LCP had its moments at Worlds, but like Cinderella teams at the NCAA Tournament, the clock has to hit midnight sooner than later.
While CFO is still in the tournament, their road got harder. They will have to defeat Karmine Corp on Thursday and follow it up with another best-of-three victory.
It makes sense to doubt CFO now, but it also wouldn’t surprise anyone if they found a way to stun not one, but two teams to hit the quarterfinals. – Paul
STOCK DOWN: Anyone’s Legend
AL stepped into Worlds 2026 with big shoes to fill and an even bigger legacy to uphold. The LPL’s No. 1 seed was looking to bring a title back to China.
“I think being the number one seed comes with a certain responsibility,” Wang “Hope” Jie told Paul Delos Santos. “People may have higher expectations of us, so we’ll work even harder in training and do our best to perform well here. We just need to keep working hard together.”
Unfortunately, they were unable to succeed in their pursuit, leaving the United States with a 0-3 record and the curse of the No. 1 LPL seed continuing.
This is also the first time an LPL team has ever gone winless in Worlds history.
AL’s exit in the tournament with a whisper instead of a bang, and now, people are anxiously awaiting to see their rebuild after this crushing loss. – Misa
